About the trip

Hello, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!  I am writing you to tell you about the exciting opportunity that God has opened for me.  I am going on a two month mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico to help at a shelter there for battered women and children called Deborah’s House.  I will be teaching English, as well as helping any way I can.  I will be gone January 9^th through March 13^th.  I would appreciate your prayers for safety, as well as boldness to share God’s word and that I will make a difference in these women and children’s lives.  I also ask that you pray that God will draw me closer to him during this time and help me grow through this experience.  While I am there, I will try to keep this blog updated, so that you can follow what is happening on the trip.
